The average battery life of the PSB headphones is:
M4U 2 – 55 hours
M4U 8 – 15 hours
M4U 8 MK II – 25 hours (wireless Active mode) / 18 hours (wireless ANC mode)
Note: The average battery life varies depending on the battery type installed.
The headphones indicate low battery power as follows:
M4U 2 – The 3-Position Power switch indicator turns Amber when there is approximately 3 hours of battery life remaining.
M4U 8 / M4U 8 MK II – The 3-Position Power switch indicator flashes the current power mode LED color when there is approximately 3 hours of battery life remaining. The headphones also play a tone or beep every 15 minutes until batteries are recharged/changed.
To replace the batteries, perform the following steps:
- Tilt the top of the left ear cup towards the right side and locate the two pull-tabs on the bottom.
- Placing two fingers inside both tabs, gently detach the battery compartment cover.
- Replace the depleted batteries with two rechargeable* or alkaline (IEC LR03) AAA batteries.
Note: *M4U 8 / M4U 8 MK II models support charging (cable supplied). - Reattach the battery compartment cover, insert the top two clips first, and proceed to press the remaining two clips into the provided slots.
Note: Please dispose of used batteries properly, following any local regulations. Do not incinerate.
