You can modify the audio output of the Alpha iQ Speakers by adjusting the audio settings in the BluOS Controller App.
To manage the audio output settings of the Alpha iQ Speakers, perform the following steps:
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer. The list of players connected to the BluOS Controller App is displayed.
- Select the Alpha iQ Speakers’ context menu (3 dots) and select Audio Settings to display the menu options.
Note: Upgrade the BluOS firmware of the Alpha iQ Speakers to get the latest Audio Settings menu options available for the Speakers.
AUDIO SETTING | DESCRIPTION |
Balance | Adjust to balance audio volume on the left and right channels. |
Bass | Adjust the Bass output levels of the Speakers. |
Crossover | Adjust the crossover between 40Hz and 200Hz – by default, set to 80Hz. When the Subwoofer option is enabled, everything above the crossover is filtered out and sent to the Speakers. The Speaker sends anything below the set crossover out of the Subwoofer (SUB OUT). |
Replay-gain |
Select any of the following to configure consistent volume levels between tracks in the play queue:
BluOS uses the metadata of the selected audio track to configure consistent volume levels between tracks. |
Reset All | Restore the audio settings of the Speakers to the default factory settings. |
Subwoofer |

Tone Controls |
Enable to adjust the Speaker's Treble and Bass output levels. Note: When enabled, the total volume of the Speakers is reduced by 6 dB to allow adjustment of the bass and treble outputs from -6 dB to 6 dB. |
Treble | Adjust the treble output levels of the Speakers. |
Volume limits | Set the upper and lower limit of volume controls in the BluOS Controller App. Modifying the Speakers' upper or lower volume limits allows more fidelity when adjusting the volume. |
