Question: How do I replace the batteries in my M4U Headphones?
M4U 2 - The 3-Position Power Switch will be “AMBER ” to indicate to the listener that there is approximately 3 hours of battery life remaining. (which may vary further if using rechargeable batteries).
M4U 8 - The headphones will play a tone or beep every 15 minutes whene there is approximately 1 hour of battery life remaining. The Power LED will also begin to flash.
Although battery life will vary upon usage, the average life is 55 hours for the M4U 2 and 15 hours for the Bluetooth connected M4U 8.
M4U 2 - Upon needed replacement, simply grasp the headband and tilt the top of the left ear cup towards the right side to locate the two pull-tabs on the bottom as indicated in the drawings. Placing two fingers inside both tabs, gently detach the battery compartment cover, and replace the used batteries with two AAA alkaline batteries.
M4U 8 - Upon needed replacement, simply grasp the headband and tilt the top of the left ear cup away from you and remove the battery cover compartment by using two fingers to pull up on the cover from the bottom as indicated in the drawings. When depleted, replace the pre-installed rechargeable batteries with two AAA charged or alkaline batteries.
To reattach the battery cover, snap the cover in place assuring all clips are secure.
